The OpenDRI team is headed to the 2018 Understanding Risk Forum in Mexico City! We’re looking forward to seeing friends and colleagues in the community, and the schedule is overflowing with exciting sessions and side events. Issues related to open risk data, civic technology, citizen science, and risk communication are central to many of the sessions. We will also start exploring on how new technologies such as computer vision and machine learning can augment these approaches and initiatives. We’re excited to see these concerns being given such prominence in the Understanding Risk community.
